Work
PIECES OF MY CAREER
The Scout
This is Bradley University's student-run newspaper. During my four years on the staff, we have evolved into more than a print publication. We launched an emailed newsletter, a podcast and a live sports broadcast. The Scout has taught me countless lessons in what it takes to be a journalist. Not only have I enhanced my writing skills, but I have also learned how to lead a team as managing editor and editor-in-chief.

Course work from Bradley University
Communications courses at Bradley have challenged me to produce great work throughout my four years. Majoring in journalism while also minoring in advertising/public relations has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of different writing techniques and styles. I have written feature articles, editorials, press releases, personal essays and multimedia stories in my classes.

Journalism Internship with the Turner Center for Entrepreneurship
Located at Bradley University, the Turner Center offers services through the Illinois Small Business Development Center, Illinois SBDC International Trade Center and the Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center. Starting in the summer of 2021, I wrote success stories about their clients discussing how the COVID-19 pandemic affected their business and how the center helped them along the way.
